Financial statements, prepared correctly and reliably, guarantee the security of the carried on business and influence the brand and credibility of the enterprise to all stakeholders.
The dramatically changing accounting and tax laws and regulations that became effective in 2011 still raise many doubts and cause interpretation difficulties.
The objective of the meeting is to pay attention to selected aspects connected with the closure of accounts, both under the balance sheet law and the tax law. A practical approach is aimed at showing risk areas and mistakes made most often.
During the presentation you will hear in particular about valuation of cash on foreign currency accounts, doubts concerning the definition of the effective exchange rate in the context of the Accounting Act and the Corporate Income Tax Act and about recent attempts to unify laws in this area. Moreover, the subject of the appropriate balance sheet presentation of provisions, prepayments/accruals and goods delivered not invoiced as well as the issue of costs at the turn of fiscal years will be raised.
